Professional Photography

Welcome to zedfoto, based in St. Paul, MN, USA. I started photographing when I was about 5 years old in a small town in rural Minnesota. I have carried a camera with me since. In college, I studied art history and photography. Now I intensively train at Minneapolis Photo Center and the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, among the best for professional training for photographers.

Unusually among photographers, I have had a successful career in business, with decades of experience in marketing & branding. I hold an MBA from the University of Minnesota. This leads me to understand the business side of photography very well but also, since I've myself often hired photographers, I have a thorough understanding of what a client wants and needs. Clients often remark on my creativity, of course, but also my business-like professionalism and responsiveness.

My work spans three areas: consumer, commercial, and fine art. Please click through my site to see samples of my work in these areas. And of course, please contact me at or by phone at 612-356-7518 if there is anything that we can collaborate on.
